Tyler is a Data Analyst Intern, having graduated from Brigham Young University in Political Science with a focus on research and quantitative analysis.
During his time at university, Tyler worked as a teaching assistant for the Political Science department’s Statistical Analysis course. He also worked as a research assistant under faculty mentors on various projects regarding campaign finance, including ideological trends in individual donors and the candidates they support, and observing trends in how Super PACs receive and spend their funds. As part of these positions and his course work, Tyler gained experience in designing survey experiments, replicating and extending academic research, and exploring social issues through ideas like intersectionality.
In his personal time Tyler enjoys finding new music, attending concerts, playing video games, and has been expanding his reading from fantasy to everything from memoirs to history to literary fiction.
